Cleaning and Maintenance
CLEAN THE FILTER SYSTEM
For best performance and results, the lter system must be
cleaned. Remove the large food particles trapped in the lter
after each wash cycle by rinsing the semicircular lter and cup
under running water.
• Inspect the lters for obstructions every time the dishwasher
has been used.
• By unscrewing the coarse lter, you can remove the lter
system. Remove any food remnants and clean the lters under
running water.
• Use a cleaning brush to clean the coarse lter and the micro lter.
• After cleaning, assemble the lter parts as shown in gures
above and reinsert the entire assembly in the dishwasher,
positioning in its seat and pressing downward.
WARNING:
• Never run the dishwasher without the lters in place.
• Improper replacement of the lter may reduce the performance level of the appliance and damage
dishes and utensils.
• When cleaning the lters, do not knock on them. Otherwise, the lters could be contorted and the
performance of dishwasher could be reduced.
To disassemble the lters, follow below steps:
Step 1 Rotate the coarse lter anticlockwise, then lift it up.
Step 2 Lift the at lter up.
The lter system consists of a coarse lter, a at lter (Main lter) and a micro lter (ne lter).
1. Flat lter
Food and debris will be trapped by a special jet on the lower spray arm.
2. Coarse lter
Big debris, such as bone and glass that could clog the drain will be trapped in the coarse lter.
To remove an item caught in this lter, gently squeeze the taps on the top of this lter and lift it out.
3. Micro lter
This lter holds soil and food residue in the sump area and prevents it from being redeposit on the
dishes during a cycle.
CLEAN THE SPRAY ARMS
Clean the spray arms regularly since hard water chemicals will clog
the spray arm jets and bearings.
• To remove the spray arms, screw off the nut clockwise, take out
the washer on top of the spray arm and then remove the arm.
• Wash the arms in soapy and warm water. Use a soft brush to
clean the jets.
• Replace them after rinsing thoroughly.
