Important Safety Instructions
WARNING
• Misuse of the dishwasher can result in serious injuries or death. Do not use the dishwasher in any
way not covered in this manual or for any purpose other than those explained in the following pages.
• Severe product damage or personal injury could result from the use of unqualied service
technicians or non-original replacement parts. All repairs must be performed by a qualied service
technician using only original equipment factory replacement parts.
• Electrical shock or re could result if the electrical supply for the dishwasher covered in this
manual is incorrectly installed or if the dishwasher has been improperly grounded. Do not use the
dishwasher covered in this manual unless you are certain the electrical supply has been correctly
installed and the dishwasher has been properly grounded.
• Never use harsh chemicals to clean your dishwasher. Some chloride-containing products can
damage your dishwasher and may present health hazards!
NOTE
• Do not use steam cleaning products to clean your dishwasher. The manufacturer will not be
responsible for possible damages or consequences.
• To avoid possible damage, do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads (metal
or plastic), or abrasive cloths/paper towels to clean your dishwasher’s exterior door panel. Your
dishwasher’s exterior door panel can be damaged by doing so.
• NSF/ANSI 184 Certied residential dishwashers are not intended for licensed food establishments.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of re, electrical shock, or serious injury, observe the following:
• Before you switch on the appliance, read the instructions for use and installation carefully. They
contain important information on how to install, use and maintain the appliance.
• This appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 years old and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or by persons with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
are supervised or are instructed by a person responsible for their safety how to use the appliance
safely and have understood the associated hazards.
• Children must not play with, on, or around the appliance. Children must not clean the appliance or
carry out general maintenance unless they are at least 8 years old and are being supervised. Keep
children below the age of 8 years old at a safe distance from the appliance and power cable.
• Keep children away from open dishwasher. There may be small parts in the dishwasher which
children could swallow and the water inside the dishwasher is not drinking water as it may contain
detergent residue.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Before connecting the appliance to a wall socket, ensure that the local electrical current matches
the one specied on the appliance’s nameplate.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• When using your dishwasher, follow basic precautions, including the following:
- Use the dishwasher only for its intended function.
- Use only detergents or wetting agents recommended for use in a dishwasher and keep them out of
the reach of children.
