Replacing the
Honda SMART Key Battery
If the Honda SMART Key indicator flashes
5 times when the ignition switch is turned
(On) position, or the operating range
becomes unstable, replace the battery as
soon as possible.
We recommend to see your dealer for this
service.
Battery type: CR2032
1.
Remove the upper case by inserting a
coin or a flat head screwdriver covered
with a protective cloth into the slit.
u Wrap a coin or a screwdriver with a
protective cloth to prevent scratching
the Honda SMART Key.
u Do not touch the circuit or terminal.
This may cause problems.
u Be careful to avoid scratching the
waterproof covering or allowing dust
to enter.
u Do not forcibly dismantle the Honda
SMART Key body.
