Engine
Starting the Engine
(single cylinder GX models)
Check the fuel and engine oil level before starting the engine.
Turn the fuel valve lever
to the ON position.
Move the throttle control lever
slightly to the left.
Move the choke lever
to the CLOSED position.

Turn the engine switch
to the ON position.
Gradually move the choke lever
to the OPEN position as the engine
warms up.
Pull the starter grip lightly
until you feel resistance,
and then pull briskly.
