TRANSPORTING/STORAGE
When transporting the engine, turn the fuel valve OFF and keep
the engine level to prevent fuel spillage. Fuel vapor or spilled fuel
may ignite.
DRAIN SCREW
Before storing the unit for an extended period;
Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
Drain the fuel tank and carburetor into a suitable gasoline
container.
Retighten the drain screw, connect the fuel tube and turn the
fuel valve OFF.
Change the engine oil (page 18 ).
Remove the spark plug and pour about a tablespoon of clean en-
gine oil into the cylinder. Crank the engine for several seconds
to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
Remove the fuel tube and drain the fuel tank.
Loosen the carburetor drain screw to drain the carburetor.
