Flywheel Brake Lever Free Play
1. Measure free play at the tip of the lever as shown, it should be less than
5 mm (3/16 in).
2.
If
adjustment is
necessary,
loosen the lock nuts and turn them to run the
adjuster up or down as required. Tighten the lock nuts and recheck free
play.
3. Start the engine and operate the brake lever. Check to be sure the engine
is stopped when the lever is released.
