DRIVE BELT INSPECTION
The drive belt is subject to wear and deterioration and should be checked
every year before operation. If the snow discharge performance drops
while operating the snowthrower, or if it is often clogged with snow, the
problem may be due to belt slippage.
1. Check auger clutch lever free play (see page 301, and adjust if
necessary.
2. Remove the belt cover bolts, then remove the belt cover.
