Hints on parameterization
Branch <device> Basic System I/O boards

Set the following value:
channel P1+ P1−: type HART channel
With this, the operating mode of the channel is set correctly for
connecting the HART transmitters.
If you are using the basic system version 03-24 and earlier, refer
to FAQ 11.2 Limitations for multidrop and burst mode up to basic
system version 03-24 (p. 116).

Up to and including basic system version 03-24, you could use either up to
4 × transmitters in multidrop mode or 1 × transmitters in burst mode.

Burst mode is not supported by all transmitters.
