1. General
1.1 Application and Reader versions
The readers are used in intrusion detection systems access control systems as reading unitsand
and operating units.
Mounting and Connection Instructions Reader series "luminAXS"
IK3 without changing transmission data (only UID)
The reader with 2 keys can not be used in conjunction with IK3 EU conv.
For readers with a Clock/Data interface, the encryption method of MIFARE DESFire
EV1/EV2 is not supported (UID only).
To use the encoding procedure MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, IQ SystemControl or
IQ MultiAccess is required for MB-Classic panels.
VdS Class A, Grade 1: for MIFARE readers (027913.10, 027914.10, 027915.10) with
RS-485 interface and classic data carrier.
VdS Class C, Grade 3: for MIFARE readers (027913.10, 027914.10, 027915.10) with
RS-485 interface and DESFire EV1/EV2 data carrier.
