8 Disconnect wires & remove the
old thermostat’s wall plate.
Use a screwdriver or a ballpoint
pen to release wires from
terminals.
Tip: To prevent wires from falling
back into the wall, wrap the wires
around your ballpoint pen.
9 Insert the wall anchors
(included).
It is recommended that you use
the screws and wall anchors
included in the box when
mounting your thermostat.
You can use the Honeywell
Standard 16 Connector to mark
where you want to place the wall
anchors. Drill bit size 7/32”.
