Install in horizontal pipework with filter bowl downwards. Ensure good access. Protect against frost. Fit after water meter.
Recommend inlet check valve. Observe flow direction. Do not solder sockets with filter. Flush pipework. Install filter without tension.
Rinse water must be piped to the drain without back pressure. Discharge into drain connector or floor drain.
Inspect and rinse filter every 2 months. Non-compliance can cause blockage and pressure drop. Red coating is normal.
Steps to replace filter mesh: close valves, release pressure, unscrew bowl, remove cartridge, replace mesh, reassemble.
Clean filter bowl and filter every 2 months. Do not use solvents. Observe detergent disposal rules.
