  Low humidity can occur if the humidifier heater isn't working, indicated by the power light not being on. Also, ensure the humidistat is set high enough and the furnace power is on. Check your circuit breaker or for a blown fuse. If issues continue, turn the humidistat off, unplug the unit, reset the circuit breaker, and consult an HVAC professional. Rapid air changes due to drafts can also cause low humidity. Keep doors and windows closed, close the fireplace damper when not in use, minimize exhaust fan running time, and seal around doors and windows.

  If you notice condensation on the walls, turn off the humidity control until the condensation disappears. Then, lower the humidistat setting to prevent it from happening again. In case of heavy condensation on windows, lower the humidity control to eliminate condensation caused by moisture from bathing, mopping, cooking, etc. If the moisture persists, you may need more ventilation.

  If the Call for Service LED is blinking, it indicates that the TrueSTEAM system has detected a fault. First, press the Reset button. If the problem continues, turn off the power supply to the humidifier, and then turn it back on. If the fault still persists, it is recommended to call a professional HVAC contractor.
