Rigging Recommendations
We recommend using a swivel rod
holder available on our website.
Through bolted and using a backing
plate. Further secure your rig with a
reel tether to prevent loss.
Wiring Requirements
Please refer to the adjacent ABYC
certied E-11 chart for electrical
specications based on your required
wire length and ow of amps used.
Install a 40A breaker for all reels
except for the 130 Dual reel which
requires a 60A breaker. Install the
correct resettable breaker as close as
possible to the battery.

CRITICAL NOTE: The red wire is
positive, the black wire is negative.
DO NOT wire backwards as this will
damage the Hooker Electric reel
and nullify the warranty.
