Filter bag
When to replace
Check filter bag from time to time.
Your cleaner will not operate effec-
tively if the filter bag is too full.
NOTE: All new carpet has loose
fiberswhich can fill the bag
quicklywhile vacuuming.
If youare usingthe cleaneron
new carpet, besure to changethe
filter bagoften.
CAUTION: Very fine materials,
such asface powder or corn-
starch,may seal the filter bagand
causeit to burst even thoughit is
only partiallyfull of dirt. When
cleaneris usedto remove material
of thisnature, changefilter bag
often.

OThe bag door is designed
with a "break-away" fea-
ture which allows it to snap free if
it is pulled to the side.
To reattach, align hingesd door
with slotson bottom of bag stor-
age area,on the headlight lens.
Pushdoor down to secure in
place.
O emove filter bag by
grasping bag collar (B)and
pulling collar from tray (C).
The bag collar is designed that, as it is removed,
the bag opening will be closed off to prevent dirt
from leaving the bag.
Discard used bag.
