  If the console of your Horizon Fitness Treadmill doesn't light up or the belt doesn't move, first, ensure the outlet is working and the breaker hasn't tripped. It should be on a dedicated 20-amp circuit, not a GFCI outlet, and not plugged into a power strip, surge protector, or extension cord. Also, check that all connections, especially the console cable, are secure by unplugging and reconnecting it. Make sure the console cable isn't pinched or damaged. Finally, turn the power off, unplug, wait 60 seconds, remove the motor cover, and check for loose wires on the lower board. Ensure the power cord isn't damaged and is properly plugged in, and the power switch is ON.

  If the operating speed of your Horizon Fitness Treadmill appears inaccurate, auto-calibrate the treadmill. To do this, power on the treadmill with the safety key in position. Press and hold the elevation “+” and speed “-” buttons for about 5 seconds to enter Engineering Mode. Then, press the Speed “+” or “-” button until “ENG2” appears in the display. Finally, press “ENTER” to select and “START” to begin the calibration.
