What to do if the compressor will not start in my Hoshizaki LANCER S4E V3 Hi-Carb Superchiller Chiller?

If the compressor of your Hoshizaki Chiller doesn't start, first check for a blown fuse, if the supply cord is pulled out, or if the supply outlet is turned off. If these are ok, clean the condenser/filter, ensure airflow is unobstructed, and ventilate the room if needed. Also, inspect the fan. Cycle the power at the wall to reset. Check the ice bank control, and replace the control or probe if defective. If components are faulty, replace them (e.g., capacitors, start relays). As a last resort, replace the compressor, check the condenser and power supply, evacuate the system, and fit a burnout drier if necessary.
