Alternatively, the laser reflective signal might be too weak, especially when measuring black surfaces. In this case, try measuring a target with high reflectivity or use the laser measure with a reflective board. Conversely, if the signal is too strong due to highly reflective surfaces, measure a target with low reflectivity or use a reflective board. Lastly, ensure you are using the laser measure within its specified temperature range.
