4. Remove the card reader (5).
To install thecard reader, reverse this procedure.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 36).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 36).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 38).
Remove the heat sink:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) from the plastic holder at the top of the computer, and then
remove the holder (2).
2. In the order indicated on the heat sink, loosen the seven captive Phillips screws (3) that secure the heat
sink to the system board.
