Mode! 3335A
the 3335A is in the frequency mode prior to the “I”
instruction, FREQ INCR is programmed; if in the ampli-
tude function prior to the “T” instruction AMPTD INCR is
programmed; if in the phase mode, ¢ INCR is programmed.
If the instrument is not in the frequency, amplitude or
phase mode, an “P”? instruction is ignored. To ensure the
increment is properly programmed in either frequency or
amplitude, it is recommended the increment instruction (D
be preceded by the amplitude or frequency function
instruction (A or F).

NOTE
@ INCR can be programmed directly by the
ASCH character P.
The instruction “PI” is legal but can be performed by just
“P” to program ¢ INCR (see Table 3-5). The two left-most
9830A and 9825A examples in Figure 3-3 illustrate fre-
quency programmed immediately preceding the increment
instruction “P” and an “FI” instruction is not required.
