Laser/scanner system
The laser/scanner system forms latent images on the photosensitive drum according to the VIDEO
signals sent from the formatter. The laser/scanner unit is illustrated below.

The laser/scanner unit is controlled by the DC controller and consists of four laser units and two
laser driver PCBs (two each of the units sitting on one laser driver), and two scanner motors (one
scanner mirror reflects two colors’ laser beams).
