Developing engaging/disengaging unit
The developing engaging unit has a developing engaging lever which shifts up and down as the
developing engaging clutch is engaged or disengaged, being driven by the delivery motor (M2).
This engages or disengages the developing cylinder from the photosensitive drum.
The developing section performs the following:
1 Memory tag control
2 Cartridge presence detection
3 Cartridge life detection
4 Developing cylinder engaging/disengaging control
5 Developing cylinder engaging/disengaging detection
6 The above operations are detailed in the following sections.
