Capacitors - The electrolytic capacitors in The Model 416A are high
quality capacitors which have a useful life of from five to ten years. Do not
replace these capacitors unless they are proven defective by accurate tests.
Variable Resistors - Should any of the variable resistors require re -
placement , connections should be made as indicated in Fig Q 19 0 The adjust -
ment to be performed if a variable resistor is replaced is described in the
Adjustments section.
If R60 is replaced, readjust the tuning eye (V9) .
If R94 or R96 is replaced , recalibrate the meter for electrical zero
and full - scale deflections Q
If Rll6 is replaced , readjust the regulator output voltage leveL
If Rl 18 is replaced , readjust the filament supply voltage leveL
Selenium Rectifier - Should rectifier SR 1 need replacement , connec -
tions should be made as indicated in Fig. 26 .
