tracking and indic a tion of noise . The meter
should indi c ate appro xi mately 3 on the SWR
scale . At this level , a ±2 . 5 db dev i ation is
permissible .

Leave the test set - up a nd control sett i ngs i ntact for the micro -
phonic noise check .
Microphon ic Noise -
1.
With the inputs to the incident and reference channels at the levels
set at the completion of step 4 , above , rap the control panel.
2 . The meter indicator should not swing more than approximately
one - third of full sc a le .
