4. Perform the correction.
To comp ensate the HP 16047A's residuals and strays, an
OPEN/SHORT correction is required.
a. Leave the HP 16047A in an OPEN condition as sho
wn in
Figure 6-21.

SHORT condition as shown in Figure 6-24.
