14. Conrm that LEDs on the scanner simulator b oard turn ON in
accordance with the HP 4284A settings displayed in the LCD.

Caution
Do not execute any SELF TEST except for the Bias Current I/F I/O
Test or the HP 4284A will become inop erative. The remaining SELF
TEST are for serviceuse only.
16. Remove the top cover, top shield plate and exp ose the scanner
interface b oard. Set SW1 and SW2 on the scanner in
terface
board to their settings b efore this test.
