Measurement Range
Description
The HP 4284A has eight measurement ranges: 10, 100, 300, 1
k, 3 k, 10 k, 30 k, and 100 k. When Option 001 is installed,
the HP 4284A has nine measurement ranges: 1, 10, 100, 300,
1 k, 3 k, 10 k, 30 k, and 100 k. The measurement range is
selected according to the DUT's imp edance even if measurement
parameter is capacitance or inductance.
Figure 3-3 shows the display range and eective measuring range for
each measurement range while in the imp edance mo de (
j Z j , R, X).
