22 Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord.
• Disconnect J/P40.
• Check P40-31 for continuity to ground.
Is there continuity?
No: Replace the PCL board, then turn to TAG 002: Check & Problem Resolution.
Yes: Continue.
23 Disconnect J/P12.
• Check P40-31 and P12-5 for continuity to ground.
Is there continuity?
No: Replace the power control #2 board, then turn to TAG 002: Check & Problem Resolu-
tion.
Yes: Repair or replace the connectors or wiring from P40-31 to P12-5, then turn to TAG 002:
Check & Problem Resolution.
