A—Productivity tools and services
The HP Color LaserJet productivity tools and services provide convenient access to printer
information, settings, and support, and are available for the life of your printer—even after the
warranty expires. They include the following:
• HP Toolbox
• HP Embedded Web Server
• HP Web Jetadmin
HP Toolbox
The HP Color LaserJet 4650 series toolbox software is a Web-based application that you can use
for the following tasks:
• Check printer status
• Configure printer settings (access device Web page settings)
• View troubleshooting information
• View on-line documentation
• Print internal printer information pages
• Receive pop-up status messages
• Determine the remaining life on all supplies and order new supplies on-line via the Internet
You can view HP Toolbox when the printer is directly connected to your computer or when it is
connected to a network. HP Toolbox is automatically installed as part of the typical software
installation.
Note You do not have to have Internet access to open and use HP Toolbox. However, if you
click a link in the Other Links area, you must have Internet access to go to the site
associated with the link. See Other Links for more information.
