Solve memory card and PictBridge port (HP Color LaserJet
CP1510ni only) problems
Check the following items to verify that the product is communicating with a digital camera or recording
device.

To connect a device to the product by using the PictBridge port, the device must be in USB mode
(for most devices, look in the Settings menu (or equivalent) on the device for PictBridge or
PTP).

The message Camera Connected appears on the product control panel when a device is
successfully connected.
◦
If the device is not PictBridge compatible, or has not been configured to be in a USB mode,
the message Unsupported device appears on the product control panel.

The PictBridge port is a USB host connection on the memory-card reader. A green LED illuminates
when a photo memory card is correctly inserted in the memory-card reader.
NOTE: The LED does not illuminate when a digital camera or recording device is connected to
the product.

Make sure that the memory card is full seated in the card reader. For supported types of
memory cards, see
Product features on page 3.

To troubleshoot a memory card, remove it from the digital device and insert it in the memory-
card reader on the product. If the LED illuminates, the problem might be with the digital device,
and not with the memory card.
