Hard Disk Drive
Remove and Replace --
Steps 13 through 19
If you have any model with an Encrypted Hard
Disk Drive please use step 13 though 19 to
remove and replace the Drive with the same or
new formatter board.

Hard Disk Drive procedures:
Disconnect both the Power and Serial
connectors.

Hard Disk Drive procedures:
Pinch hard drive mounting clip and pull up.

Hard Disk Drive procedures:
1. Rotate drive up
2. Slide forward off hinge

If replacing with new formatter board,
exchange it here.
NOTE: Do Not
replace both a new Formatter
board and new Hard Disk Drive at the same
time. Please replace drive first, reboot, and
then replace formatter.
