Clear jams in the right door
CAUTION: The fuser can be hot while the product is in use. Wait for the fuser to cool before handling it.
1. Open the right door.
2. Gently pull the paper out of the pickup area.
3. If paper is visible entering the bottom of the
fuser, gently pull downward to remove it.
CAUTION: Do not touch the rollers on the
transfer roller. Contaminants can affect print
quality.

Clear Paper Jams in the Right Door

Open the Right Door

Opens the right door to access the paper jam area for removal.

Remove Paper from Pickup Area

Gently pull any jammed paper out of the printer's pickup area.

Remove Paper Entering Fuser

Carefully pull downward paper visible entering the fuser.

Clear Jammed Paper in Output Bin

Remove paper jammed as it enters the output bin by pulling it downward.

Check Fuser for Internal Paper Jams

Remove the fuser to check for any paper jams that are not visible inside.

Remove the Fuser Unit

Grasp fuser handles, lift slightly, and pull the fuser unit straight out.

Clear Paper from Inside Fuser

Open jam-access door and pull paper straight up from inside the fuser.

Reinstall Fuser and Close Door

Push the fuser completely into the product and close the jam-access door.

Close the Right Door

Close the right door to complete the paper jam clearing procedure.
