Keyboard test
Tests the product keyboard
NOTE: For products with a keyboard feature only.
When this item is selected, pressing a button on the
keyboard causes the corresponding character to
appear on the control-panel display.

corresponding character should appear on the
control-panel display.
Backlight test
Adjusts the backlight Use this item to adjust the brightness of the
control-panel display.
1. Touch the icon.
2. Touch the up
or down arrow buttons to
adjust the backlight level.
Ambient-light sensor
test
Checks the ambient light sensor Use this item to test the ambient-light sensor
functionality.
1. Touch the icon.
2. Shine a flashlight at the control panel to the
left of, and down about 25.4 mm (1 in,) from
the Home
button.
3. The numbers displayed below the icon should
be any value other than zero.
Home button test
Tests the Home
button Use this item to test the Home button LED and
switch functionality.
1. Touch the icon.
2.
Press the Home
button on the right side of
the control panel. The LED icon on the control-
panel display illuminates if the button LED and
switch are correctly functioning.
