HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One J610 Series Setup Guide

Step 1: Remove Tape and Cardboard

Remove all tape and cardboard packaging from the printer.

Step 2: Connect Power

Connect the printer to the power source but do not connect the USB cable yet.

Step 3: Press Power Button

Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Step 4: Select Language and Region

Select and confirm the printer's language and region on its display.

Step 5: Check Printer Doors and Tray

Ensure the printer door is closed and the output tray is open.

Step 6: Prepare Paper Input

Raise input tray, extend it, slide guide, and load paper.

Step 7: Open Cartridge Door

Open the door to access the ink cartridges.

Step 8: Install Ink Cartridges

Remove tape from cartridges and push them into the carriage until they snap.

Step 9: Close Cartridge Door

Close the ink cartridge access door.

Step 10: Align Ink Cartridges

Print and place the alignment page face down to align cartridges.

Install Software (Windows)

Connect to Network or USB

Choose to connect the printer via wireless network or USB cable.

Install Software CD

Insert the software CD and follow on-screen installation instructions.

Install Software (Mac)

Connect Printer

Connect the printer to the Mac using a USB cable.

Run HP Installer

Insert the software CD and run the HP Installer application.
