Internal storage drives

configured for hardware RAID fault tolerance using the HP Smart Array
6i RAID Controller. The HDDs are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable. The
drives are c onfigured by default into two logical drives at the controller
level.
The DL380 G4 DP Storage Server uses Micr osoft Disk Manager (DM) to
present the 36 GB HDDs to the system as basic disks. The server uses two
logical drives as presented to it from the physical storage layer for the OS
and DO N’T ERASE basic partitions. The internal DL380 G 4 drives are
configured in a single RAID 5 partition. The non-OS logical drives are
used by DPM and should not be configured using DM.
