Printer Drive Assembly Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
• Remove the top cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” (page 192) for instructions.)
• Remove the formatter PCB. (See “Formatter PCB Removal” (page 177) for
instructions.)
2 Disconnect the ribbon cable and the main motor cable shown in figure 7-73. The green
ground wire is disconnected in the next step.

3 Remove the (two ground and five self-tapping) screws shown in figure 7-74.
