Tray 1 Paper Sensor Lever Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
• Remove the top cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” (page 192) for instructions.)
• Remove the left cover. (See “Left Cover Removal” (page 232) for instructions.)
• Remove Tray 1. (See “Tray 1 Removal” (page 237) for instructions.)
• Remove the formatter PCB. (See “Formatter PCB Removal” (page 177) for
instructions.)
• Remove the printer drive assembly. (See “Printer Drive Assembly Removal”
(page 207) for instructions.)
2 Rotate the paper sensor lever forward until it stops, and then hold it in this position.
3 Grasp the wire connector shown in figure 7-85, and then pivot it toward the printer to
remove it.
