Tray 2 Pickup Roller Assembly Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
• Remove the top cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” (page 192) for instructions.)
• Remove the formatter PCB. (See “Formatter PCB Removal” (page 177) for
instructions.)
• Remove the printer drive assembly. (See “Printer Drive Assembly Removal”
(page 207) for instructions.)
2 Remove the spring and gear shown in figure 7-92. Rotate the gear in order to get it past
the solenoid.

3 Place the printer on its left side.
4 Remove the three screws shown in figure 7-93.
