Laser/scanner assembly
1 Remove the following assemblies:
● Rear accessory cover. See
Accessory covers and the tray 2 extension door.
● Top cover. See
Top cover.
● Right-side cover. See
Right-side cover.
● Formatter cover. See
Formatter cover
2 Unplug the laser/scanner wire-harness connector (callout 1) from the dc controller PCA
(location J84; callout 1).
3 Remove the laser/scanner wire-harness from the wire guide (callout 2).
