CFC usage
Ozone-depleting chemicals (Chloroflorocarbons, for example) have been
eliminated from the manufacturing sites of this printer. CFCs are not
used in the manufacturing of the packaging.
This HP LaserJet printer design reduces:
Energy consumption
Energy usage drops from an average of 120W during printing to as little
as 5W while in Standby/Sleep mode. Not only does this save natural
resources, but it also saves money without affecting the high
performance of this printer. This product qualifies for the United States
Environmental Protection Agency’s
ENERGY STAR Program. ENERGY
STAR is a voluntary program established to encourage the development
of energy-efficient office products.
