To clean the paper path
1.
Use the
(L EFT ARROW ) or the (R IGHT ARROW ) button to select Service, and then press
(S ELECT ).
2.
Use the
(L EFT ARROW ) or the (R IGHT ARROW ) button to select Cleaning Mode, and
then press
(S ELECT ).
A page feeds through the printer slowly. Discard the page when the process is completed.
3. Load plain letter or A4 paper when you are prompted.
4.
Press
(S ELECT ) again to confirm and begin the cleaning process.

Calibrating the printer
Calibrations are performed at regular intervals. For best print quality, a calibration can be
performed from the control panel using the following steps:
1.
Use the
(L EFT ARROW ) or the (R IGHT ARROW ) button to select System setup and then
press
(S ELECT ).
2.
Use the
(L EFT ARROW ) or the (R IGHT ARROW ) button to select Print quality and then
press
(S ELECT ). Calibrate color will display on the control panel.
3.
Press
(S ELECT ).
4.
Use the
(L EFT ARROW ) or the (R IGHT ARROW ) button to select Calibrate now and then
press
(S ELECT ).
5.
Press
(S ELECT ) to start the calibration.
