Unix information
UNIX systems require a Model Script to set up the UNIX environment to be able to print to the
product. The HP LaserJet IIISi, or any generic HP LaserJet printer Model Script, should work. These
files are written and provided by the individual UNIX vendor. Contact a UNIX Vendor to obtain copies
of these files.
For more information on Unix support, go to

HP provides the model script files for an HP LaserJet product provided it is being used over a network
with an HP Jetdirect print server and is using HP-UX or Sun Solaris. The model script files are
installed by using the HP Jetadmin utility for the respective version of UNIX.
