Extend your printing reach
Designed to be easy to share with a small workteam, the HP LaserJet Pro M706n can print from
any desk in the office, using built-in 10/100 Ethernet networking. You can also add optional
802.11g networking to connect the printer directly to a wireless (Wi-Fi) network. For more
details, please see “Ordering information” on page 13.
Easy printing on the go
HP ePrint provides a simple way to print on the go, from virtually anywhere, with any device
capable of sending an email.

Each HP ePrint-enabled printer has its own unique email address.
Just attach a file that you want to print to an email message and send that message to your
printer. Or, print from any Mopria-certified smartphone or tablet without setup, software or
apps.

• If you have an iPad®, iPhone® or iPod touch, use Apple AirPrint™ to print right from your
device—no need to install anything. Just tap the action icon on the photo or document you
want to print, select Print, then select the HP LaserJet Pro M706n from the printer list and hit
Print again.
• With a Windows® 8 phone, select Devices from the charms tab on the item you want to print,
choose the HP LaserJet Pro M706n, and hit Print. It’s that simple!
• With a Samsung Galaxy S4 or HP Slate 7 tablet, printing is just as easy, because it’s built into
the Android operating system. When you’re ready to print, just go to the Menu, select Print,
select the HP LaserJet Pro M706n, and hit Print again.
• If you have another type of Android device, simply download and open the HP ePrint app,
choose the photo or document you want to print, confirm your printer settings, and select
Print.
Manage devices remotely
Proactively manage your printer and help save valuable time with convenient device
management tools. HP Device Toolbox for Windows and HP Utility for Mac OS X provide easy
access to the printer’s HP Embedded Web Server. View device and network status and adjust
settings from your computer, instead of from the printer control panel.
The HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) provides a versatile single-driver solution for nearly every
HP device in your managed printing environment—including the HP LaserJet Pro M706n
printer. The HP UPD now supports end-to-end encrypted printing, so you can help keep
sensitive information private.

The HP LaserJet Pro M706n is also supported by HP Web Jetadmin, HP’s fleet management
tool, for remote monitoring. HP’s Web Jetadmin is a single solution that allows you to
