2. Support the scanner assembly, release one tab (callout 1), and then remove the scanner support
(callout 2).
CAUTION: The scanner assembly is not captive and can easily be separated from the product base if it
is opened too far.

3. Carefully feed the FFC through the slot in the chassis (callout 1).
M127 and M128 models only: Remove the document-feeder grounding-cable screw (callout 2).
