3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 27).
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the WLAN module:
1. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cable (1) from the WLAN module “Main” terminal.
2. Remove the Phillips PM2.4×3.8 screw (2) that secures the WLAN module to the bottom cover.
(The WLAN module tilts up.)
3. Remove the WLAN module (3) by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle.
NOTE: If the WLAN antenna cables are not connected to the terminals on the WLAN module, protective
sleeves should be installed on the antenna connectors, as shown in the following illustration.
Reverse this procedure to install the WLAN module.
