[White] You are working in CAS view, not

The Alpha key is active. The charac-
ter shown in orange on a key will
be entered in uppercase when a

In CAS view
The Alpha–Shift key combination is
active. The character shown in
orange on a key will be entered in
uppercase when a key is pressed.
