Removal and replacement procedures
Remove the ExpressCard assembly:

Steps 1 through 3 apply only to HP Compaq 6545b and 6540b computer models. See steps 4 and 5 for
information on removing the ExpressCard assembly on HP Compaq 6445b and 6440b computer models.
1. Disconnect the speaker cable 1 from the ExpressCard assembly.
2. Lift the right side 2 of the ExpressCard assembly to disconnect it from the system board.
3. Remove the ExpressCard assembly 3 by sliding it up and to the right.
