Remove the speaker assembly:

Steps 1 and 2 apply only to HP Compaq 6545b and 6540b computer models. See steps 3 through 5 for speaker
assembly removal information for HP Compaq 6445b and 6440b computer models.
1. Remove the slotted Torx T8M2.5×7.0 screw 1 that secures the speaker assembly to the base enclosure.
2. Remove the speaker assembly 2.

Steps 3 through 5 apply only to HP Compaq 6445b and 6440b computer models.
3. Disconnect the speaker cable 1 from the ExpressCard assembly.
4. Remove the slotted Torx T8M2.5×7.0 screw 2 that secures the speaker assembly to the base enclosure.
5. Remove the speaker assembly 3.
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker assembly.
