Remove the I/O expansion board, if installed ("I/O expansion board" on page 54).
9. Remove the system board.
To replace a system board:
1. Install the spare system board.
2. Replace all components removed from the failed system board.
3. Install the access panel.
4. Slide the server back into the rack.
5. Power up the server.
After you replace the system board, you must re-enter the server serial number and the product ID.
1. During the server startup sequence, press the F9 key to access RBSU.
2. Select the Advanced Options menu.
3. Select Service Options.
4. Select Serial Number. The following warnings appear:
