6 Attach one end of the hard drive activity LED cable to the 8-port SAS RAID controller card (1). Attach the other end
of the hard drive activity LED cable to the hard drive LED activity connector on the system board (2). (An HP xw6000
series workstation system board is shown below for reference.)
NOTE: See the service label on your workstation access panel to locate the hard drive activity LED connector on
your system board. If your system board has a 4-pin connector for the hard drive activity LED cable, connect the cable
to the two inner pins.
