4. Slide the hood sensor forward, push the hood sensor down, and then remove it from the chassis
(1) as shown in the following figure.

5. If desired, remove the hood sensor bracket, remove the two hood sensor bracket screws, and then
remove the bracket and sensor as a unit (2).
NOTE: To replace the Hood Sensor, reverse the previous steps.
